Thursday 2nd October: Tower climbing

Today we went to the Duomo and the bell tower (campanile) and climbed both of them. Joe and his family came from Lucca to see us and climb the towers. The cupola of the Duomo was 462 steps up and the campanile was 457. In total we climbed 1838 steps up and down.
